For those of you who are considering Pine Rest Cabins as a place to stay and looking to use the trail, the trail is not just across the Highway - Black Hills Cabins & Motel at Quail's Crossing is just across the Highway & access to the trail on the other side is for Quail's Crossing paid for guest only which is clearly mark as such. For at least 1 mile either direction on Highway 385 is also marked private property by other owners. We offer a lot more at lower rates. So Beware of thier misleading advertising.
Pine Rest's guest-s caught treaspassing will be prosecuted. The fine is $120.00 per person for Treaspassing.
